What is Body Biostimulation?

Body biostimulators support your skin’s own collagen production while addressing specific concerns in texture and contour. At The ART Clinic, we tailor treatment to the way your skin, soft tissue and natural proportions work together.

Sculptra + Targeted Subcision

Smoother texture. Stronger skin.

  • Soften visible cellulite dimpling
  • Improve skin firmness and texture
  • Build gradual, natural-looking improvement

Radiesse Body Contouring

  • Support selected areas of the buttocks
  • Stimulate collagen for contour and skin quality

Sculptra for Cellulite

Why Cellulite Forms

Cellulite develops when fibrous bands tether the skin downward while the underlying fat pushes upward. Skin thinning and reduced firmness can make that uneven texture more visible—even in people who are active and lean.

Sculptra + Targeted Subcision

Treat the dimple. Support the skin around it.

Our approach addresses both sides of the concern. Deliberate, targeted subcision releases selected tethering bands. Sculptra, a poly-L-lactic acid biostimulator, stimulates collagen to improve skin support, firmness and the appearance of surface texture over time.

Radiesse for Hip Dips

Understanding Hip Dips

Hip dips, sometimes called “violin hips,” are the natural inward curves between the hip bone and upper thigh. Their appearance is influenced by pelvic structure, muscle and the distribution of fat and soft tissue.

While exercise can build the glutes, it cannot fundamentally change the underlying bone structure that contributes to hip dips. These curves may also become more noticeable as soft-tissue volume and skin support change with age.

Smoother Hip-to-Thigh Transitions

Enhance your existing contours.

Radiesse is a calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) biostimulator. Carefully placed treatment can provide structural support and stimulate collagen, helping soften hip dips and create a smoother waist-to-hip and hip-to-thigh transition.

Radiesse Buttock Enhancement

Subtle Contour Enhancement

A subtle approach to fullness, symmetry and skin quality.

Sometimes the goal is a little more balance: a softer transition, improved contour or firmer-looking skin. Radiesse can be used to support selected areas of the buttocks and stimulate collagen for gradual refinement.

Often described as a non-surgical butt lift, this treatment focuses on modest contour enhancement. Your consultation helps us define an achievable result for your anatomy and the amount of product required.

Different Shapes. Different Needs.

We consider your proportions as a whole, from the waist and hips to the buttocks and upper thighs. Treatment enhances your individual shape, with attention to balance and natural transitions.

Radiesse for Hands

Restore Softness & Volume

Natural-looking rejuvenation for the backs of the hands.

Loss of soft-tissue volume can make tendons and veins look more prominent. Radiesse can restore volume to the backs of the hands, creating a smoother, fuller appearance while stimulating collagen.

A Balanced, Natural Finish

We assess volume loss, skin quality and your natural hand anatomy to plan a subtle result.

  • Restore lost fullness
  • Soften the visibility of underlying tendons and veins
  • Support a smoother, more refreshed appearance

Radiesse for the Abdomen

Improve Crepey Skin & Firmness

Collagen support for changes in skin quality.

Ageing, pregnancy and weight changes can leave abdominal skin looking thinner, crepier or less firm. Diluted Radiesse can be used to stimulate collagen and help improve the appearance of mild skin laxity and uneven texture.

Focus on Skin Quality

The aim is smoother, firmer-looking skin, with a plan tailored to the degree of laxity and the area involved.

This treatment does not remove fat, repair separated abdominal muscles or remove excess skin. We assess whether your concern is best addressed with biostimulation, another treatment or a combined approach.

Radiesse for Knees

Smoother Skin Around the Knees

Target crepiness and mild skin laxity.

Thin, crepey skin and fine folds can become more noticeable above and around the knees as skin support changes. Diluted Radiesse can help stimulate collagen to improve skin quality and the appearance of mild laxity in this area.

A More Refined Appearance

  • Support firmer-looking skin
  • Soften the appearance of crepey texture and fine folds
  • Refine the skin above and around the knees

Treatment focuses on the skin and soft tissue. It does not treat joint pain or arthritis.

How Biostimulators Work

Collagen Support

Sculptra and Radiesse stimulate the body’s natural collagen response. As new collagen develops, it helps support skin structure, firmness and contour.

A Personalized Approach

The right choice depends on the concern: Sculptra with targeted subcision for cellulite and skin quality, or Radiesse where contour support and refinement are the priority. Sometimes a staged plan makes the most sense.

CLINICALLY STUDIED

Published randomized studies have reported improvement in cellulite appearance with PLLA, including treatment combined with subcision.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which treatment is right for me?

Sculptra with targeted subcision is suited to concerns about cellulite and skin texture. Radiesse may be recommended for hip dips, subtle buttock contouring and hand volume restoration. Diluted Radiesse can also be considered for skin quality and mild laxity on the abdomen and around the knees. We assess the cause of your concern before choosing a treatment.

Can working out get rid of hip dips or cellulite?

Exercise can strengthen the glutes and improve overall body composition, but it does not change pelvic anatomy or reliably release the fibrous bands behind cellulite. These concerns can remain visible at many fitness levels.

Is this a weight-loss treatment or a surgical BBL?

No. Body biostimulation refines selected contours and skin quality. It does not remove fat, provide major buttock enlargement or replace surgery when a substantial change in size or lift is the goal.

When will I see results, and how many sessions will I need?

Radiesse may provide an early contour change, depending on how it is used. Collagen-building improvements from both products develop over the following weeks and months. The number and spacing of sessions depend on the treatment area, your starting point and your goals.

How long do results last?

Results can be long-lasting, but their duration depends on the product, area, amount used and your individual response. We’ll discuss an appropriate review and maintenance schedule for your plan.

What should I expect after treatment?

Bruising, swelling and tenderness can occur, especially when subcision is included. We provide area-specific aftercare and advice on exercise and pressure on the treated area. Less common risks include infection, persistent nodules, contour irregularities and vascular complications; these are discussed during consent.

Am I a good candidate?

You may be a candidate if you want to improve cellulite, soften hip dips or refine modest contour concerns with realistic goals. We review your health, medications, skin and previous treatments. Treatment is generally deferred during pregnancy or breastfeeding and when there is an active infection in the area.
